Hi there, my name is Stephanie and I am so glad you stopped by. I am a Jesus loving mom to three and a wife who is on a journey to not only survive this life I’ve been given, but THRIVE while doing it! I’ve gone from someone I don’t even recognize anymore, to a person who loves life and loves helping others. These oils have literally given my life back and I want that for you as well!
Through Young Living I have made new friends, addressed many health issues and am able to stay at home with my kids while helping to support our family.
Take some time to browse the website and read about my favorite oils, I would love to be part of your journey.
The Rainstone requires at least three years of experience for each craftsman who hand shapes an exquisite and rare purple clay found only in a small region of China. Young Living’s Rainstone has a robust feature set, including continuous ultrasonic diffusion at 1.7 million waves per second; 1, 2, 3, 6, and 8 hour settings with automatic shutoff; five soft LED light settings (blue, yellow, purple, alternating each color, and off); a negative ionizer; and a remote control. The Rainstone’s elegant design and handcrafted artistry make it an exquisite piece of art to complement any décor and transform any space into an inviting, aroma-filled atmosphere. If you have questions about the Rainstone, or any other product, please contact me!
If you’ve ever wandered the aisles of Target, and what mom hasn’t at 9pm when the kids are sleeping and the store is quiet, I’m sure you’ve noticed how many hand soaps are on the market. They range in price from 99 cents up to a whopping $7-10! I am not sure about you, but my kids go through WAY too much hand soap to justify spending any more than a few dollars per bottle (has anyone else found a mound of foam in the sink, on the toilet lid and all over the tub or is that just my fun family?). Unfortunately the less expensive bottles of soap usually are the ones with the most chemicals and harsh products in them. That is where this blog post comes in. I am going to show you how to make your own foaming hand soap for pennies on the dollar of what the stores charge AND it’s 100% pure and healthy for your family.
You’ll start by gathering the following materials-
-Castille Soap (this can be purchased on amazon or at your local health food store. I prefer Dr. Bronners brand and use the unscented formula)
-Fractionated Coconut Oil (this can also be purchased online or at a health store.)
-Purified or Distilled water
-Young Living Oils of your choice
-An empty foaming soap container
First you will add 2-3 Tablespoons of the Castille soap to your empty soap container
Then add 5-10 drops of Young Living Oils. I choose to use 5 drops of Thieves (great for killing germs and immunity) and 4 drops of Orange (yummy smelling!)
Swirl the mixture around slowly and then add 1tsp of coconut oil to it. Swirl again… or shake, or shimmy, it’s your choice.
Now add your distilled or purified water to the bottle being careful not to fill it TOO high or else your lid won’t fit (don’t ask me how I know that).
And that’s it!
Have a GREAT time making your soap and giving your family an inexpensive and super healthy alternative to hand soap from the store.
